Potato Germplasm Storage

Tissue-Grown offers custom germplasm maintenance, disease indexing and storage services. Once lines are in storage, bulk-up can be scheduled for the production of transplants to meet production demand. Services include entry of lines into TGC database, management of sampling for disease testing, shipment of materials to production areas. Transplant Production

Tissue-Grown has demonstrated its integrated tissue culture system, which allows plants from the laboratory to be planted into commercial vegetable transplant facilities without mist or other modifications, in several crops. Over 100,000 plantlets of a new crop, Stevia, which produces a natural sugar substitute for use as a sweetener, have been transplanted directly from the laboratory into commercial transplant greenhouses in a cost effective and highly efficient manner.
